Loise’s professional journey began with a vibrant career in corporate marketing, where she thrived in advertising, experiential marketing, and market research.
In 2008, quite by chance, Loise stepped into the world of international development when she took on a role as Business Development Officer, Africa at Education Development Trust (EDT). This move would redefine her aspirations and professional purpose, even as she helped raise multimillion-dollar funds until 2013. During her tenure at EDT, she discovered her passion for creating meaningful change, finding profound fulfilment in working for impact rather than focusing solely on profit. There was no turning back.
Loise continued to provide her BD skills to INGOs and development consulting firms, holding regional leadership and director-level roles at Cardno Emerging Markets (now DT Global), KPMG, VSO International, Young Scientist Kenya (YSK), and Crown Agents. These roles shaped her expertise and solidified her reputation as a strategic thinker and problem-solver.
In 2023, Loise set up Capture Associates, and today, she channels her wealth of experience into consulting, offering organisations invaluable technical insights. Her consulting services include crafting robust strategies, engaging with donors and partners, managing complex proposals, designing impactful programmes, and fostering knowledge and learning. Over the past year, esteemed clients such as Porticus Africa, Grassroots Nest for Innovation and Change (GRIC), Education Development Trust (EDT), and Population Media Centre (PMC) have benefited from her expertise.
Loise holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an MBA from the University of Nairobi in Kenya.
